Terms and Conditions (Teleconsult)

Booking Policies

  • The appointment timing is an estimated timing, but we will do our best to adhere to your chosen timing.

  • You must be 16 yearsold or older to apply for Teleconsultation. If you are under 16 years old, you are required to register a care person 21 years old or older to be alongside you for the Teleconsultation with our doctor.

  • Teleconsult are for simple cases, those does not require much doctor examination.

  • Generally, patients who require emergency medical attention are not suitable for video-consultation services.
    Examples like:

    • Acute or severe chest pain 

    • Active bleeding, deep wounds or lacerations 

    • Breathlessness 

    • Convulsions or seizures

    • Fainting spells, presyncope, or syncope 

    • Injuries with suspected fractures or dislocations present as severe pain, open wounds, deformity, severe bruising or swelling, loss of sensation, and limb weakness

    • Persistent Vomiting 

    • Severe abdominal pain 

    • Severe headache or giddiness 

    • Sudden onset numbness, weakness or slurred speech

    • Sudden loss of vision 

During Booking

  • For new patients, please report all drug allergies you may have upon registration.

  • ​Please make payment for the consultation first as per the clinic’s consultation charges via PayNow.​

  • Please take note that once payment has been made, no refunds will be allowed.

  • Do send a WhatsApp message with the screenshot as proof of payment to the clinic.

Reschedule Booking

  • Please contact the respective clinics nurses' at least 1 hour before your appointment time with the doctor to reschedule your appointment.

Appointment Period

  • Please be present 10 minutes before your appointment time. You will receive a WhatsApp message from our clinic nurses' when our doctor is ready with the Teleconsultation video call. 

  • You will need to present NRIC to for identity verification during the Teleconsultation.

  • If the doctor deems you are required for further examination for your current condition, you may be required to head down to the clinic.

Medication Delivery / Collection

  • Please indicate clearly if you wish to collect your medication in the clinic or courier service to your home.
    (Subjected to non-controlled drugs prescribed and delivery charges).

  • If delivery charge is more than $10, you are required to pay the remaining balance via PayNow to the respective clinics.
    (Additional surcharge delivery fee will be applied for restricted areas such as Tuas - Jurong Island and Sentosa).

  • Etern Medical is not responsible for any loss of medication lost in transit from courier service.
