Etern Medical Clinics has been administering Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines to the public who falls under the eligible group.

 

This vaccination is FREE to all Singaporeans and long-term residents in Singapore.​

Eligibility Group:

  • Singaporeans

  • Permanent Residents

  • Selected Work Pass Holders

  • Healthcare Workers

  • Healthier SG Enrollees

Recommended Group:

  • Individuals can get a booster 5 months (150 days) after their last Covid-19 shot.

  • Seniors aged 60 and above are strongly encouraged to get the booster.

  • Medically vulnerable individuals aged 12 and above, including:

    • Medical / Chronic Conditions

      • E.g., Diabetes, Hypertension

COVID-19 Vaccine

Are there any side effects? What should I do if I suffer from any side effects?

The vaccine has been assessed to be safe for use.

 

However, some common side effects maybe experience by different individuals. Like other vaccines, most of the side effects are mild or moderate and it will go off after a few days.

Some common side effects are:​

  • Pain

  • Redness

  • Swelling

  • Tiredness

  • Headache

  • Muscle pain

  • Chills

  • Fever

  • Nausea

See a doctor if the side effects persist or get worse. The fever usually persists for more than 2 days. In very rare cases, this vaccine can cause a severe allergic reaction.

 

Signs of a severe allergic reaction include:

  • Difficulty in breathing

  • Swelling of face

  • Swelling of face, lips, throat, eyes 

  • Dizziness and weakness

  • Fast heartbeat

  • Bad rash all over the body

  • Chills

  • Fever

  • Nausea
