Dengue fever symptoms typically appear 4 - 7 days after a mosquito bite ranging from 3 - 14 days and can include:

  • Sudden high fever (2 - 7 days)

  • Severe headache, especially behind the eyes

  • Joint and muscle pain

  • Skin rashes

  • Nausea and vomiting

  • Mild bleeding (nosebleeds, gum bleeds, easy bruising)
